Planning :

  • Prioritize geographies, prepare annual Budgets, RPVA strategy, Brand wise activation calendars and implementation in collaboration with Sales team.
  • Proactively manage the development and delivery of Brand Plans into agreed Retail Accounts.
  • Work with external parties (event agency, advertising agency, production house, etc.) for preparing promotion materials, bespoke visibility and all other localize materials for the retail trade
  • Effectively plan, source manage and implement all GWPs retail POS and VAPs in the region Execution :
  • Deliver best in class Brand Activation, Planograming and Merchandising across all consumer touch points thru distributors team.
  • Implement merchandising / display in line with Brand Guidelines.
  • Highlight outlet staff training requirements along with implementation of ongoing retail training program
  • Manage all bespoke unit and visibility installation across retail outlets
  • Custodian manager of retail outlet segmentation model including annual review and refresh
  • Ensure that all creative marketing materials undergo brand review and adhere to strict brand guidelines
  • Assist in analyzing marketing data (RSP pricing, campaign results, conversion rates, traffic etc.) to help shape future marketing strategies
  • Evaluate activity based on sales uplift, ROI, and specific objectives of each activity
  • Any other ad hoc projects assigned that could include the launching of a new brand, a brand extension, or a focused drive on a specific existing brand Monitoring and Reporting :
  • Submit agreed template reviewing previous months performance versus objectives and confirming in a proactive manner the activities / plans for the coming months.
  • Support to monitor brand performance in markets through regular interaction with distributor partners and store checks.
  • Measure and report ROI of activations
  • Track and monitor effective retail visibility (HOT SPOTS), RSPs and distribution in key outlets (use merchandisers)
  • Report of own and competitor visibility / activities at outlet level, with photos to wider audience during Sales and marketing meetings Consumer Insights
  • Reports of own and competitor visibility / activities at outlet level, with photos
  • Identify trends, consumer insights, opportunities to improve brand activation.
  • Track and provide feedback on project implementation and performance to ensure it is in line with the brand’s strategy. A&P Management :
  • Support to budget and report A&P expenditures in MFM (PR group tool) in compliance with PR reporting guidelines and PR Gulf policies & procedures
  • To manage assigned marketing budget for its effective utilization and undertake course-correction if required.
  • To work in conjunction with Sales team to ensure that identified customers are mutually agreed as appropriate for investment.
  • Reconciliation of budgets with distributors taking help of RMs and Finance team Collaboration and communication :
  • Work in conjunction with PRG sales teams to ensure that activation plans are agreed with customers and ensure brand and commercial objectives are achieved
  • Develop and maintain healthy relationship with key accounts and distributors
  • Work closely with BMs to understand Brand plans and localize them to specific markets
  • Collaborate with external parties (L3F agency, event agency, advertising agency, production house, etc.) for preparing promotion materials or sponsorship.
  • Completely own and execute the annual kickstart meetings with distributors
  • Develop a collaborative relationship & communicate activation with retail teams of key distributors / customers
