The main areas of responsibility for thisrole is :

  • For Talent Development, PerformanceManagement and Competency Assessment.
  • Workforce Planning and Employment includes administeringpre-employment tests, assisting with completing backgroundinvestigations, processing transfers, promotions, andterminations.
  • For HR Development you will berequired to conduct training sessions, administer on-the-jobtraining programs, evaluate the effectiveness of training programsand maintain records of employee participation in all training anddevelopment programs and performing job evaluations and jobanalyses.
  • For Employee Relations you will beresponsible for assisting with processing employee grievances andoverseeing engagement programs and other employee relationswork.
  • The Performance Management aspect ofthe role is aimed to develop, coordinate, and manage data-driven,quality assurance and performance measures and programs to supportongoing operations.
  • Daily job duties ofHuman Resources Specialists include :

  • Preparing or updating employment records related to hiring,transferring, promoting, and terminating
  • Explaining human resources policies, procedures, laws, andstandards to new and existing employees
  • Ensuring new hire paperwork is completed and processed
  • Informing job applicants of job duties,responsibilities, benefits, schedules, working conditions,promotion opportunities, etc.
  • Addressing anyemployment relations issues, such as work complaints
  • Processing all personnel action forms and ensuringproper approval
  • Overseeing hiring process,which includes coordinating job posts, reviewing resumes, andperforming reference checks
