Job Role : Estimator / Procurement

Estimator / QS Part

  • Studying Tenders, accurately quantifyingthem, estimating and creating a BOQ based on drawings and detailsfor full Structural & Architectural,Civil / Interior / Exterior works
  • Studying project requirements and specifications during tenderstudy to enable accurate pricing, cost breakdown, competitiveestimation
  • Preparation of TenderDocuments to make ready for submission as per projectrequirements
  • Contacting varioussuppliers to bring information regarding any unknown / new works ormaterials to enable us to price any new jobs accurately
  • Excellent written and communication skills toenable good Procurement and research abilities
  • Commercial discussion abilities
  • Knowledge in Estimation and budgetingsoftware is very welcome
  • Knowledgein ERP system is very welcome
  • Hightechnical understanding t enable accurate quantifying / estimatingand pricing without the need of constant help of TechnicalEngineers
  • Preparation of BOQ andfollowed by preparation of quotations for various projects / scope ofworks, made ready for the review and signature of the PM
  • Understanding of sensitive project detailswhich may influence the rates of various works, listing ofinclusions / exclusions based on project study and discussion withthe PM
  • Will be fully responsiblefor all enquiries incoming to MGC, all tender study, quantifying,preparation of BOQ and quotation, following up of releasedquotations on a planned basis and pushing all Clients anddiscussing with them do ensure securing the best jobs available forour team.
  • Preparation submissionand follow up of monthly progress payments for all scopes / projects(Payment applications for PC’s)
  • Identifying / quantifying variations,preparation of quotations and VO’s for the same andfollow up to ensure they are included in monthly payments
  • Preparation of Cash flow forecast forupcoming jobs based on programme of works
  • Prepare / update library for the material,equipment and manpower rates and monitor their costs
  • Full responsibility for all tasks startingfrom any new enquiry up to finalizing of agreement and terms ofagreement ready for review and signature of the PM
  • Procurement Part

    1. Sourcing for various materials, suppliers,subcontractors, meeting with them and discussing technical details,specifications and requirements, updating and managingSupplier / subcontractor database on a daily basis

    2. Preparation of agreement draft, terms of agreement withClient / Main Contractor and also withSubcontractors / Suppliers

    3. Organizing andmonitoring contractual obligations

    4. Fullresponsibility for procurement department

    Contracts Part(optional)

    5. Experience withcontracts is very welcome that would include Contract draftpreparation for main contacts and sub contracts

    6. Commercial discussions with suppliers / subcontractors upto final agreement ready for review of PM and signature of CEO.

    Monitoring Contractual Obligations of a given job.
