The Department / College The College of Education, accredited by NCATE / CAEP, is currently in the process of expanding and deepening its existing Baccalaureate and Master’s Degree offerings, and in developing robust applied research and professional development programs directly relevant to schools in the UAE.
The college has an Early Childhood Education Center on its Abu Dhabi and Dubai campuses, providing a research-based model for early childhood education that features bilingual language acquisition (English and Modern Standard Arabic), discovery and numeracy development, and parent education.
The Opportunity The Department of Education Studies at Zayed University’s College of Education (Dubai) seeks energetic Teacher Educators at the Instructor rank.
The Responsibilities The position requires successful applicants to engage in teaching introductory courses and practicums, and engagement in college and university service activities.
In addition, responsibilities include substantive involvement with the College’s Office of Field Experience which oversees the placement of teacher candidates in partner schools for their practicums and internship. The Requirements
