DescriptionJob Purpose Acquisition and management of relationships for the Commercial Bank with the objective of revenue growth and good credit quality in line with the strategy of Citi Commercial Bank Job Background Context Citi Commercial Bank caters to SME Small Medium Enterprise and MME MidMarket Enterprise segments Relationship Manager is responsible for new client origination in the SME MME segments and also for managing an existing base of client Relationship Manager needs to be proficient in the product suite offered credit analysis and working knowledge of Lending products Trade FX and Cash Management Key ResponsibilitiesAcquire new customers through referrals of current customers and through marketing activities Maintain a pipeline of new deals Prepare credit proposal for new to bank relationships and discuss with Business Risk seniors on the case in terms of client s financial ratios business model etcManage existing base of client relationships and timely submission of annual review cases to Risk Credit Analysis UnitPrimary point of contact with customer for all service escalationsHandle documents related to client s onboarding with the Commercial Bank and keep the client abreast of the statusRegular liaison with Credit Analysis Unit Risk and other internal units for followupsAct as backup for other RMs as and when needed by the businessCoordinate with Transaction Services team to conduct CitiDirect training for clientsXsell by partnering with product partners Cash Trade and Treasury productsInitiate and participate in micromarketing activities for your area to support customer acquisitionProvide active feedback on emerging product needs of customers competitive practices and ideas on process product improvementQualificationsKnowledge Experience 510 years of Commercial Corporate banking experienceExperience in a client acquisition role in UAEBasic knowledge of trade lending FX and other cash productsSkills Competencies Commercial Corporate Risk skillsSales Closing skills and ability to multitaskMSoffice skills Word Excel and PowerPointLanguage skills English Arabic Desirable and any other languagesRisk TrainedSales skillsBuilding RelationshipsControls complianceIntegrity ProfessionalismQualifications Graduate in Business Commerce or Banking DiplomaExceptional candidates who do not meet these criteria may be considered for the role provided they have the necessary skills and experience Valuing Diversity Demonstrates an appreciation of a diverse workforce Appreciates differences in style or perspective and uses differences to add value to decisions or actions and organisational success Citi is an Equal Opportunities Employer
