Socialize is looking for Content Creators AKA Communication Unicorns to join our team. Our content creators are tasked with creating and executing meaningful, thumb-stopping content strategies.
They are also responsible for creating and delivering reactive content across different social platforms based on the brand guidelines, creating content playbooks and working with the Strategy team to set metrics and use data to inform content.
The ideal candidate will help the team with mid-weight pitches, working with strategy, campaign team & client service to deliver against the Client’s strategic plan.
Key responsibilities :
Giving insight and form to content from strategy to delivery.
Researching the brand, identifying relevant social & industry-related trends and adapting them to fit the brand’s messaging.
Thinking innovatively about asset creation & recommending new ways to elevate client content.
Ensuring the correct resources are available to deliver work.
Responsible for the active delivery and implementation of work.
Providing social marketing and consultancy expertise.
Keeping track of the latest platform tools and developments, and ensuring they are being utilized in the content plans.
Acting as the community custodian for your clients, implementing community management as per the playbook strategy.
Using insights derived from reports, data and anecdotally from writers to ensure content is achieving the strategy.
Monitoring key social media platform changes, insights and competitor strategies.
Creating reports that measure the performance of social content and community management for analysis by the Client.
Working with the Account Director and Account Manager to understand the brand’s objectives and goals.
Creating dependable, organized, and clear communication across teams to ensure that campaigns are executed according to project plans.
Building a strong relationship with the Client partner.
Providing insightful, business-driven ideas and information to the Client
Helping produce regular documentation and ad hoc reports for clients as requested.
This role reports to the Editorial Director and our Account Directors as part of our helix reporting structure. These means are supported by the Editorial Director in developing creative thinking and execution and working with the Account Director on delivery and client relationships.
What we’d like you to have :
Proven experience in having created and delivered content strategies.
Proven experience in multimedia storytelling (visual and video) on different social platforms .
Expert understanding of social platforms and their capabilities.
Enthusiasm for social content - understanding and interpreting trends and popular content.
Able to shoot and edit content with a phone
Technical capabilities in shooting and video editing would be preferred but not essential.
