Tasks : 1. Sales support :

1. Sales support :

Support the local Sales organization / customers in determining the most technically appropriate and cost-effective solutions and in the preparation of demanding offers and submission within the stipulated time.

2. Offer preparation :

Prepare / support preparation of technical / commercial offers based on customer specific requirements, LBU (Local business unit) feeder factory indication and sales organization directive.

Participate in the kick off meeting organized by the project team.

3. Cost definition :

Define cost for the proposed solution and communicate to sales organization.

4. Risk review :

Provide information to the risk review process in accordance with ABB policy and sometimes participate in the risk review assessment.

5. Competitive analysis :

Analyze customer needs and competitor offers through general market information and information provided by the sales organization.

6. Lost proposals :

Perform lost proposal analysis, identify potential cause, and recommend future actions in cooperation with Sales / Local Business Unit to obtain better future results.

Requirements :

Your Engineering graduation in Electrical or Electronics with around 10 years of experience in sales support or bids and proposals in similar type of Industry would be an ideal fit.

You should possess a high sense of urgency and attention to details especially on the technical & commercial aspects of the proposals.

Your leadership abilities in networking and connecting with the internal and external stake holders and coming out with a highly competitive and meaningful proposals is what is expected out of this role.

Your success would depend on how fast you could turn things around under strict timelines and pressure without effecting the quality of work.
