Staff Training andQualification
Attend training to equip necessary technical knowledge and skillsand successfully complete all required training courses for Outagespecialist
Provide training feedback onprogram effectiveness with evaluation of operatorperformance
Develop and implement process and procedures whichsupport outage planning andimplementation
Perform following job tasks timely and with quality to achieve thehighest level of operation support of the plant.
Ensures that work notifications areplanned in the appropriate work windows to ensure risk to Nuclearsafety is minimized.
Commitsresources to ensure Outage plans are affective, risk transparentand meet tech spec requirements.
Recommends operational focus to ensure that the right work isperformed at the right time per the outage work windowprocess.
Review proceduresdeveloped by other departments and provide comments
Understands the characteristics ofoperations
Operate Unit1&2 Outage Tagout (Clearances) Permit Order and maintainkeys
Support the development ofStart-up field requests
Performsystem walk down and check the status of plant operation (ensuringplant configuration control procedures are implemented duringOutage release of plant and return to service)
Identify areas for improvement duringcommissioning phase
Supportimportant commissioning tests (CHT / HFT)
Ensuring effective support of operations teams in thefulfilment of their obligations to the Outage Managementprocesses
Prepare for WANOpre-start up peer reviews
Assistin preperation of operational aspects unit 1&2 refuellingoutage
