We are currently looking to recruit Vice President to manage the credit control and monitor the receivable position regularly and take adequate steps to ensure that the overdues are under check and controlled.

The duties and responsibilities for this role are the following :

  • Monitor the receivable position regularly and take adequate steps to ensure that the overdues are under check and controlled.
  • Interact with brokers and other business sources for follow up on outstanding.
  • Notify management of overdues and resolve the collection issues.
  • Prepare periodic reports on receivables and ad-hoc reports requested by the management .
  • Assist in the setting up of the credit control system.
  • Dealing with internal queries about payments, outstanding and ensuring customers pay on time.
  • Regularly making contact with customers to ensure all relevant debts are managed as necessary.
  • Negotiating re-payment plans and makes sound decisions while accepting, rejecting or offering amended payment terms and settlements while conforming to Company’s policies and procedures.
  • Recommend legal action or realization of security in cases where payment is not forthcoming.
  • Identify changes in payment patterns and propose action for recovering overdues.
  • Ensure that all transactions are compliant with Company's policies and IA regulations.
  • Respond promptly and completely to both client and internal enquiries.
  • Propose write off of irrecoverable receivables.
  • Undertake account reconciliations.
  • Send out monthly client statements.
  • Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge :

  • Chartered Accountant
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance
  • Minimum Experience :

  • 6 to 8 years of working experience in Finance
  • Working experience in the Insurance sector
  • Job-Specific Skills :
