The Regional Learning and Development Manager is responsible for identifying designing developing and delivering learning opportunities to meet organizational and employee development needs for our Middle East Africa regions and for contributing to Talent Management initiatives globally This position will be located in Dubai UAE Essential duties Partner with Regional Leadership Team to identify knowledge and skill gaps and career development and succession plans for existing employees and provide recommendations for appropriate learning and or performance improvement solutions Partner with Regional Team to define orientation strategy and translate them into an effective efficient orientation program for new hires for assigned countries Assist the Director of Talent Management in developing a global approach to enhance manager effectiveness Collaborate with the Talent Management Team to ensure best practice sharing and coordination of efforts in executing global plans for common needs such as Leadership Development Manager Development and Professional Skills training Work with Director of Talent Management Sourcing Manager Commercial Operations Manager to identify local training providers negotiate contracts schedule and evaluate offerings Support performance management succession planning and talent management initiatives regionally Utilize adult learning principles to design develop deliver and manage high-

quality regional Talent Development plans in alignment with global initiatives covering areas such as computer skills customer service communication skills management skills and other corporate programs using 1 1 coaching online webinar and instructor-

led methods Effectively manage all of the logistical details required to create and execute high quality learning events including but not limited to scheduling and setting up room advertising event making copies creating certificates of completion and administering sign sheets Respond to employee inquiries regarding upcoming courses and e-

Learning system issues Contribute to the Career Navigation Site and Talent Management Teamsite on Sharepoint Compile analyze and report on monthly Regional Talent Development metrics and courseevaluationsMaintains knowledge of talent management practices and learning technologies by performing independent research attending workshops reviewing professional publications establishing personal networks and participating in professional societies Performs other duties as assignedKnowledge Skills andAbilities Strong instructional design and delivery skills Ability to think strategically and innovatively while delivering tactically in an evolving environment Ability to adapt quickly stay flexible and utilize resources effectivelyStrong collaboration interpersonal facilitation and influencing skills across geographies levels and functions Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to manage self and others through change Global mindset and results oriented Strong Microsoft Office skills are required as well as experience with Learning Management Systems authoring software and webinar technologies are desired English fluency knowledge of regional languages a plus Ability to travel to global Granite offices as necessary Educationand or Experience Bachelors Degree in HR adult education organizational development or related field is required Graduate degree preferred Minimum of five years of progressive experience designing developing and implementing learning development performance improvement coaching and talent management initiatives preferably within a multi-

country matrix driven manufacturing or engineering environment Certification is preferred
