ROLE PURPOSE

Responsiblefor driving dairy and poultry sales in a designated sales area asper the overall sales strategy in order to meet the AFLPsobjectives for growth, market share, revenue and sustainedprofitability

Also, design strategies andtactics to identify customer leads within area to enhance AFLPsmarket share Sales Strategy Design and Implementation

Understand AFLPs dairy and poultry sales strategy andgrowth plan to sustain business growth and profitability Implementthe dairy and poultry sales strategy to the respective designatedsales area and drive team to implement the same to the territoriesto ensure corporate goals and KPIs are met

Develop plans for the growth and expansion of the salesactivities in the designated area in order to capture new market orenhance the market share of AFLPs product

SalesOperations Management Achieve allocated dairy and poultry salestarget as per the finalized sales objectives across designatedterritories, projecting expected sales volume and profit forexisting and new dairy and poultry products In collaboration withthe sales promotion incharge, drive the promotional campaigns inthe designated sales area to ensure increase in sales

Support Key Accounts Incharge in channelizing andpartnering long term relationships with various Key CorporateAccounts

Ensure the customer orders are filledeffectively and efficiently in the designated sales area incollaboration with Supply Chain team

DemandPlanning Participate in demand forecasting exercise for Dairy andPoultry products to develop demand forecasts (operationalforecasts) at a designated sales area

Provideinputs to the Sales In-charge regarding demand planning based onthe review of historical product sales trends, demand driversetc

Provide inputs to the Sales In-charge teamin order to manage inventory for existing and new dairy or poultryproducts

Effective Sales Distribution Coordinatewith Field Sales Incharge to optimize the sales routing plan toensure the optimum usage of AFLPs assets and effective distributionof products

Sales Performance Tracking andReporting Monitor and analyse the periodic reports capturingvarious key sales metrics ie sales volume, potential sales, salestarget planned vs achieved (across routes, areas, territories, teammember, SKUs), Customers Order fulfilment (Timely, Accuracy, % oforder fulfilled) etc for the designated area and identify the areasof improvement

Participate in dailyweeklymonthly review in order to share the progress of the achievement ofvarious sales metrics vs target, identify any risk or design amitigation plan for the same

Monitor route wise,customer wise sales turnover, expiry levels, product mix and ensurethat optimum results are achieved

Closelymonitor sales perfomance of each route in terms of loadmaximization, customer mix per route, drop sizes per customer,adhereance to route call plans to ensure optimum level of routeprofitabilioty and customer service levels

Market Intelligence Provide recommendations to the seniormanagement on potential customer leads for Dairy and PoultryBusiness in the designated area

Participate inthe benchmarking initiatives thereby bringing the processexcellence methods & modes which influence increase insales of products

Competitive Landscape AnalysisKeep abreast with the changing market and competitive conditionsacross products by monitoring competitor products, sales andmarketing activities

Establish and maintainrelationships with industry influencers and key strategicpartners

Consumer Behaviour Intelligence Mentorteam to understand the customers needs based on the findingsgathered through research, surveys, and focus groups to ensure highcustomer service orientation

Budgets and PlanAdhere to departmental budgets and ensure optimal utilization ofall available resources

Systems and ProcessesImplement approved departmental policies, processes and procedures,to ensure work is completed out in a controlled and consistentmanner while delivering a world class service

Carry-out cost-efficient usage of all resources atdisposal to reduce wastage and unnecessary expense

Share ideas and viewpoints to further streamlineprocesses, thus driving efficiency and improvements across theorganization

HSE and Risk Management Comply toall relevant QHSSE management procedures and controls across thedepartment so that AFLP provides a safe, world class, secure andenvironmentally responsible service to customers, the public andits employees

Change Management &Continuous Improvement Stay updated with on-going change andcascade approved communication to the layers below

Collect and share ideas and viewpoints to furtherstreamline systems, processes, thus driving efficiency andimprovements across the organization

PeopleManagement Provide operational guidance and feedback to teammembers on a day to day basis Provide inputs on team members duringperformance appraisal process
