What will I be doing? As a Server, you areresponsible for providing Guests with food and beverages asrequested in an efficient manner and according to proper procedureand bar regulations.
A Server carries the responsibility ofthoroughly understanding the menu, food offerings and foodcontents. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing thefollowing tasks to the highest standards :
Manage anefficiently operated bar shift that is in accordance with theagreed standards and regulations
Use every possibleopportunity to gain knowledge in all areas of bar supervision
Ensure all tables receive their drinks and food asrequested
Maintain the cleanliness of all equipment usedduring shifts
Maintain cleanliness of the bar and storesto Health, Safety and Hygiene standards at all times.
Show complete awareness of all the drink and food menus andreadiness to explain and recommend food and drink contents
Ensure that all before / after service mise en place iscompleted to the correct standard
Comply with CompanyHealth & Safety, and Fire Regulations and procedures
Adhere to the Company disciplinary policy when necessary
Maximise revenue and increase average spend per personthrough upselling, high customer service standards, effectivetraining and motivational techniques
Demonstrate aperfect knowledge of all beverages served in the bar, how beveragesare prepared (to recipe) and presented, and how Bar personnel aretrained to possess this knowledge and the application ofit
