Job Role : Project Assistant - SocialMedia
The Project Assistant is primarilyresponsible for day-to-day client work under the daily supervisionof an Associate Consultant or Project Consultant.
Covering thebasics of PR, communications and social, the Project Assistantplays a key role in coordination of account activity and willperform a variety of tasks including research and analysis, mediamonitoring, preparing summary reports to support the clientengagement.
The Project Assistant is not expected to manageprojects or serve as the primary client contact, although wecontinually encourage our people at every level to aspire for thenext move up.
Demonstratingsuccessful performance as a Project Assistant
Within the first six months of joining the team,the Project Assistant is expected to :
Conduct thorough research that reflects an understandingof the clients’ issues
Preparesummary reports which synthesize information from varioussources
Participate actively in internal andclient meetings, offering knowledgeable observations andsuggestions
Proactively identify externalmeetings and trainings to attend to build skill set or sectorknowledge and contacts
Demonstrate awarenessof utilization and expectations, coordinating with project leadersto manage them
Develop firm understanding oftraditional and digital media tools and metrics
Universitydegree, in Journalism, Communications or English
Strong writing skills, with an aptitude for discerningnews and business language
Excellent verbalcommunication skills, including the ability to conductpresentations
Digital skills ranging from MSOffice proficiency to social media utilization; basic knowledge ofdesign software
The ability to communicate inArabic will be considered an advantage
