Key Job Responsibilities

As a Housekeeping Coordinator, you are responsible for all communication in and out of housekeeping office to ensure a smooth running of the department.

  • Handles all requests (internal, external and guest) efficiently.
  • Responsible for sorting / filling all daily activity reports in housekeeping office.
  • Records all incoming calls, ensure all messages or information's are disseminating and followed up.
  • Handles all issues pertaining to Lost & Found - Receiving, recording, storage, claiming and clearing.
  • Updates and prints the room discrepancy report by morning, afternoon and evening at 8 pm.
  • Prepares Attendance Sheet for payroll and submit to Human Resources Department.
  • Ensures adequate stock of all amenities used in housekeeping.
  • Checks and maintains the first aid items in the housekeeping.
  • Handles 'DND' rooms. Ensures to call the guest by 15 : 00 hrs. and ask for service.
  • Check and report any maintenance work required immediately and any damages or missing items to your Supervisor.
  • Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in similar role in a hospitality environment.
  • Bachelor's degree / diploma in hospitality
  • Must possess good communications skills (Verbal and Written)
  • Must possess the skills of organizing, planning
  • Must have the ability to multi-task
  • Computer literacy and experience in Opera / FBM.
