As the Head of Sales of (Covert), you will be responsible for contributing to the high-level strategy of the venture, building the Sales team from scratch, and ensuring that your team can source, close and manage clients.
More specifically, you will :
Co-define the Sales strategy with the CEO, and contribute to long term business plans for Sales and Product Development along with the rest of the C-Level team
Define, recruit and lead a high performance, multi-disciplined Sales team that will efficiently cover all company types across the UAE
Oversee the sales funnel from sourcing and lead generation to closing sales and generating Revenue.
Define key objectives and targets such as sales volume, market share, distribution channels, etc.
Ensure that the team effectively closes enough leads to meet these monthly and quarterly sales goals
Establish customer relationship management (CRM) systems and guidelines to manage customer relationships
Promote positive relationships with major customers to understand their needs.
Be the voice of the Customer : Ensure key customer feedback is fed back into product & technology teams, that actions are documented and executed, and that we have the highest standards in terms of Relationship Management
Requirements and qualifications
5+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience with proven track record of delivering maximum revenue potential from new and retained clients
Proven client service and relationship management skills
Firm understanding of the overall sales process (prospecting, objection handling, closing and long term relationship management).
Experience in a high pressure environment, e.g. a startup, consulting, investment banking, etc
You must be confident presenting yourself, as you are the face of the company
Display the ability to not only set strategy, but also the willingness to execute operationally
You are currently based within the UAE, or are willing to relocate for this role
Written and oral fluency in English, and the ability to communicate effectively
Written and verbal fluency in Arabic
An extensive local network (UAE) within the wider corporate ecosystem
