What you will be doing :

  • As Assistant Reservations Manager, you are responsiblefor achieving occupancy targets / levels as identified in the annualbudget and marketing plan for reservations.
  • Maximise occupancy levels by reviewing and revising revenuestrategies.
  • Recognize potential clients andto transmit information to the revenue management and salesdepartment.
  • Recognize VIP guests and applythe concerned policies.
  • Promote AccorLoyalty programs (ALL) and hotel promotions.
  • Ensure team members are effectively informed about ALL and trainthem accordingly.
  • Ensure the privacy of theguests and that the confidentiality of the information isrespected.
  • Manage third party sites andagents to establish rates, negotiate prices, ensure properimplementation of reservations procedures, and maximise conversionratios in order to achieve targets for the department.
  • Contribute to the selling strategy of the hotel, andmanage the departments' adherence to achieving thatstrategy
  • Understand the competitive marketplace and implement approaches to ensure the hotel stays ahead inthe local market
  • Ensure team members aredeveloped effectively and generate a culture of high qualitystandards for relationship building, customer service, sellingtechniques, and billing and processing contracts
  • Build strong relationships with customers, guests andteam members in order to gain full understanding of their needs andwork to serve them effectively
