Kroll’s I&D practice is staffed with a multidisciplinary team of professionals who include former prosecutors, investment bankers, law enforcement officers, journalists, consultants, as well as certified public and forensic accountants, data analytics experts, and certified fraud examiners.

Position Overview : The Associate Managing Director in Kroll’s Investigations & Disputes practice is a wide-ranging role that covers all aspects of case management, from identifying opportunities, structuring projects and managing resources and presenting conclusions to clients.

This is a client-facing role, and as such you will be expected to exceed in meeting the clients’ needs, while ensuring that the Kroll brand remains intact at all times.

We require an imaginative and creative thinker with excellent communication skills; a team player able to work to tight deadlines often balancing a significant and varied caseload.

The candidate must be able to demonstrate excellent judgment, be commercially-focused and be driven by professional excellence and a commitment to the Kroll brand.

A key interest in business strategy, global events and markets, with an awareness of working across different cultural and political environments is essential due to the range of cases that you will manage across various industry-

sectors and country locations.

Responsibilities :

  • Demonstrate self-initiative and team coordination in developing leads and proposals, managing engagements and producing high-quality results
  • Show an ability to sell and identify new business and cross-selling opportunities
  • Effectively lead and run client engagements on an independent basis and appropriately manage risk
  • Development and management of projects, throughout the life of the engagement : meeting with clients to discuss needs, preparation of commercial and technical proposals, development of investigative plans and budgets, management of the allocation of resources, direction of project team members, delivery and quality assurance and project invoicing
  • Direct and oversee the efficient management of cases to achieve client satisfaction and meet budgets
  • Ensure a high standard of case financial and administrative management
  • Act as primary client contact throughout projects and contribute to management of the client relationship
  • Exercise good judgment, demonstrate innovation and adapt working strategy based on the results obtained
  • Ensure ethical conduct, quality of services, use of best practices and compliance with policy and SOPs in each project
  • Provide expert, reliable and robust analysis of complex situations and data for clients
  • Contribute to the professional development and evaluation of project team members
  • Business travel up to 20-30% required
  • Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree a plus
  • At least 7 years of relevant work experience
  • Strong team, project and client management experience
  • Flexible team player, with strong interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in a broad variety of investigative methods
  • Proficient in MS Office. Ideally also proficient in investigative analysis tools
