Our team is currently looking to hire an Infrastructure Manager based in one of our projects in Abu Dhabi. The incumbent will be managing the planning, designing and the implementation of all the Infrastructure elements (i.
e. all underground, including roads, drainage, sewerage, irrigation, etc.).
Duties and Responsibilities not limited to :
Coordinate with the external Governmental / Local Authorities in obtaining their approvals of the projects.
Manage the approvals of the client on all submittals (design, specifications, and materials by the Consultants on the basis of cost, time and quality.
Coordinate with the contracts manager to manage the tender documents, Scope of Works and Specifications.
Review and prepare recommendation on the different Consultant’s recommendations and assessments of the prequalification of the Sub-
consultants / Contractors / Sub-contractors before inviting them.
Review and approve the financial analysis submitted by the Consultants for the proposed Infrastructure / Landscaping works and prepare recommendation.
Review and approve the clarifications / responses of the related documents Clarify queries raised by the Contractors and the Consultants during tendering stage.
Interview and approve the Infrastructures / Landscaping Consultant’s Site Supervision Staff and approve the mobilization / demobilization schedules.
Monitoring the progress of the Infrastructures and the Landscaping Works and recommending the corrective actions to control the activities and performance of Consultants and Contractors at the construction stage.
Review and recommend the approvals of the payments, provisional sums and variation orders for Consultants / Contractors during design and construction stage.
Review and recommend the approval of the final Handing Over to either internal / external party.
Coordinate with all the Governmental / Local Authorities and other external / neighboring parties.
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
The candidate should have a strong background in construction engineering, site management, administrative capabilities and managerial skills.
A minimum of 10 years’ experience involving large-scale residential developments, commercial office buildings, resort and business hotels, entertainment and retail complexes, and / or infrastructure improvements among similar facilities.
Previous experience with engineering consultancy highly regarded.
Experience gained in the Middle East mainly UAE and an understanding of its cultural heritage and business practices will be highly regarded.
