TRYP byWyndham is now seeking a ITExecutive to join our team at TRYP byWyndhamDubai in Dubai, Dubai.


The IT Specialist isresponsible for assisting with all operations of the computerhardware, software and systems of the hotel, ensuring that allpolicies and procedures are followed, and rectifying any problemswhich arise.

Education &Experience

  • At least2 years of progressive experience in IT, systems or relatedfield
  • Experience in a hotel or related industryhelpful.
  • Must be proficient in Windows, Companyapproved spreadsheets and word processing and in the operation ofall hotel-specificsystems.
  • PhysicalRequirements

  • Longhours sometimes required.
  • Medium work Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and / or20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push,pull, or otherwise moveobjects.
  • GeneralRequirements

  • Must beable to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with alllevel of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteousand service oriented manner.
  • Must be effectiveat listening to, understanding, and clarifying concerns raised byemployees and guests.
  • Must be able to multitaskand prioritize departmental functions to meetdeadlines.
  • Approach all encounters with guestsand employees in an attentive, friendly, courteous andservice-oriented manner.
  • Attend all hotelrequired meetings and trainings.
  • Maintainregular attendance in compliance with Wyndham Hotels &Resorts Standards, as required by scheduling, which will varyaccording to the needs of the hotel.
  • Maintainhigh standards of personal appearance and grooming, which includeswearing the proper uniform and nametag.
  • Complywith Wyndham Hotels & Resorts Standards and regulations toencourage safe and efficient hoteloperations.
  • Maximize efforts towardsproductivity, identify problem areas and assist in implementingsolutions.
  • Must be effective in handlingproblems, including anticipating, preventing, identifying andsolving problems as necessary.
  • Must be able tounderstand and apply complex information, data, etc. from varioussources to meet appropriate objectives.
  • Must beable to cross-train in other hotel relatedareas.
  • Must be able to maintain confidentialityof information.
  • Must be able to showinitiative, including anticipating guest or operationalneeds.
  • Perform other duties as requested bymanagement.
  • FundamentalRequirements

  • Consultwith management to determine information requirements and todetermine priorities and parameters of new projects;
  • discuss systemcapacity and equipment acquisitions.

  • Consultwith systems hardware analysts to define equipmentneeds.
  • Review project feasibilitystudies. Establish workstandards.
  • Prepare progress reports to informmanagement of project status and any deviation fromgoals.
  • Assist with contracting technicalspecialists or vendors to solveproblems.
  • Revise computer operating schedule tointroduce new program testing and operatingruns.
  • Review reports of computer and peripheralequipment production, malfunction, and maintenance to ascertaincosts and plan operating changes.
  • Assist staffto diagnose and solve computer equipmentproblems.
  • Participate in technical projectssuch as writing equipment specifications or developing computerprograms for specified applications.
  • Maintainand stay abreast of the latest computer programs / innovations (asapplicable).
