Established in 2003, with circa 8000 students and Campuses in Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Al Ain, Abu Dhabi University (ADU) is a rapidly growing private university, ranked among the best universities in the UAE and the Arab World.
We have Campuses in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain (where a purpose built Campus is under construction) and Dubai, along with a teaching centre in Madinat Zayed (Al Dhafra).
We are growing. The University, known for reflecting national priorities in its teaching and research, is expanding its provision into health sciences, with five undergraduate programs in the first phase.
Future expansion will see us emerge as a leading provider of health care education, knowledge exchange and research in the region.
Additional, cutting edge programs are being launched in design, engineering, media and business disciplines.
ADU has an American style curriculum. Our educational programs demonstrate international quality, with national and international accreditations (e.
g. Western Association of Schools and Colleges, USA; AACSB; EQUIS; ABET; RIBA) and recognition in international university rankings (QS World University Rankings).
We are looking for an outstanding inaugural Dean, capable of developing the College of Health Sciences as a regional leader.
Clinically qualified, the inaugural Dean will be an accomplished leader, with experience gained ideally as Dean, Associate Dean or Departmental Chair in highly regarded universities.
You will have the stature, skills and motivation to develop an internationally competitive College of Health Sciences, with strong links with clinical stakeholders and professional bodies, and a portfolio of research that addresses national and regional challenges and contributes to teaching, pedagogy and clinical skills developments.
