Are you a seasoned developer who is also good with numbers or a math expert who likes coding? If so, this might be for you.

We are looking for Quantitative Developers who use their combined numerical and tech skills to support bond trading in New York and London.

Our group is responsible for :

building robust mathematical models to calculate prices and risks for various bonds on a daily basis this includes all stages : development of the methodology, implementation, documentation and maintenance

fetching market data from different sources and generating statistical analysis with top notch visualization

answering any quantitative questions the traders or other internal clients might have

coordinating projects across the business minded traders and the tech specialist teams we need to speak both languages

You will :

Enabling colleagues across the organization by analyzing their needs and devising custom solutions that increase their productivity

Be developing real-time market monitoring, pricing, risk viewing and opportunity-finding tools, as well as increasing the overall efficiency of their workflows and related processes.

You have :

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.

Relevant professional experience

Programming experience with one or more general purpose programming languages including but not limited to : Python, C++, Java, JavaScript.

Analytical thinking, problem solving and statistical skills

Ability to work effectively with colleagues widely dispersed geographically.

Sensitivity to details, accuracy in everyday work

Ability to work independently

Manage personal queue, i.e. Issue Tracking and Reporting (JIRA)

Residence in Hungary

You might also have :

5+ years HTML5 / JS UI development skills, including at least 2 years with AngularJS (1.x)

Experience with q / KDB

Development background, implementation experience with new technologies(Big Data, Cloud, ML)

Experience with Python

Team Profile :

The Cross FID Strats group is looking for experienced developer to support and develop our suite of credit tools. Responsibilities will include working with desk strat, sales & trading desk to develop or improve our existing tools, as well as increasing the overall efficiency of their workflows and related processes.

CAI (Credit Analyst Ideas) is a tool that presents analysts and traders a medium to communicate and track recommendations and trade ideas.

Initially rolled out to US IG Credit desk, it is now being adopted by EU Credit desk, and there are plans to extend its reach to other asset classes.
