We are looking for a highly confident Commercial Business Development Partner to join our team in Duabi.

This is a new role to support our growth plans and we need someone who is results focused and has a clear understanding of key financial metrics and value drivers.

You will need to be a motivated professional with a strong desire to deliver first class service.

We need you to be assertive, approachable and thrives in a fast paced environment to meet deadlines.

Your main role and responsibilities will be :

  • Develop and maintain relationships with introducers and Clients for the provision of Governance, risk and compliance functions, company secretarial, PRO and company restructuring services
  • Develop and implement business development strategies of the company covering the UAE markets
  • Develop and maintain relationships with law firms, corporate finance and investment banking professionals in relation to pre-IPO client work
  • Keep him / herself abreast of private client legislative changes in relation to regulation and taxation
  • Prepare, monitor business plans and advise MD as appropriate
  • Ensure overall business objectives and budgets are achieved
  • Promoting the services to professional intermediaries such as lawyers, advisers and the DIFC
  • Communicating and presenting cross-border companies and solutions for clients are referrals
  • Update Managing Director on business development and client prospecting
  • Act as Relationship Overseer on problem cases to a small number of major / complex clients
  • Maintain excellent relationships and profile with all stakeholders including regulators, bankers, key intermediaries and maintain and enhance Equiom’s status as a reputable business and good member of the local community
  • Ensure compliance with company standards, policies and procedures
  • Essential skills :

  • A key requirement for this role is to have financial services or corporate service experience
  • A relevant professional qualification
  • Proven experience in generating new business or have a good client following
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is essential to liaise with clients
  • Extensive working knowledge of Financial Services and Corporate Services
  • Excellent business acumen with a pragmatic approach to problem solving
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to motivate
  • Strong relationship skills with the ability to influence at a senior level
  • Desirable skills :

  • Have extensive network of professional intermediaries
  • Knowledge of Compliance and the DIFC, DFSA and Onshore regimes
