SUMMARY
Develop and manage tradecompliance processes and procedures.Provide advice and guidance on import and export compliance matters.
Prepare export license and import applications, proposed agreements, andappropriate documentation supporting the Company's use of license exemptions orexceptions and provide support to internal self-assessments and externalaudits.
ESSENTIALDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Operate as a subjectmatter expert supporting internal and customers with the following services :
Develop tech data controlplans for numerous TAAs in conjunction with customer ITC department
Review existing / plannedprocess maps to ensure presence of trade compliance control touch points whileminimizing business administrative impact
Participate on ERPimplementation team to provide trade compliance view
Review program specifictrade compliance workflows, processes, and signoff requirements / thresholds andprovide recommended changes and updated documents
Meet with business processowners to understand data flow, and meet with customer IT departments tounderstand traceability options
Draft trade complianceaudit plan, schedule, and methodology in conjunction with customer ITCdepartment
Recommend a course ofaction to Management regarding business planning issues and disseminateinformation regarding export and import control issues to Management.
Draft export licenseapplications, import permit applications and proposed Technical AssistanceAgreements
Analyze and interprettrade compliance laws and regulations such as the ITAR, EAR, OFAC and BATFE andimplement industry best practices in accordance with those laws andregulations.
Use and keep abreast ofon-line tools including but not limited to D-Trade, Snap-R, EASE and AES Directand provide assistance in training and resolving issues and errors.
Understand and recommendcompany use of ITAR exemptions and EAR exemptions for exporting companyproducts and technical data.
Review procedures andprocesses for self-assessment and assure compliance in accordance with USGovernment Focused Assessment audits.
Prepare license andagreement applications for submission to Government agencies.
Manage export and importauthorizations to ensure compliance with the regulations.
Perform other duties asassigned or required.

QUALIFICATIONS

Ability to travel to othersites within the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Ability to obtain a UAE work visa.
EDUCATIONand / or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s Degree from afour year college or university.
5 Years' Experience preferred.
Certified US ExportCompliance Officer (CUSECO).
Have completeunderstanding and knowledge of U.S. Export and Import Regulations and industry bestpractices, application of principles, concepts, practices and standards.
