The below Key Performance Areas include but are not limited to : Work closely with internal contacts to ensure the fleet operation operates effectively and efficiently whilst improving productivity and managing operating costs.
Work closely with the team to ensure products are delivered on time.Oversee route planning to ensure optimum utilization of vehicles.
Ensure continuous improvement in productivity and operating costs.Create, develop, and maintain good working relationships and networks both internally and externally.
Develop, motivate, appraise, and train Employees. Continuously appraise Fleet Management.Drive performance by removing obstacles, improving processes, and recommend solutions.
Ensure vehicle cleanliness and health and safety standards are consistent with company policy. Ensure that vehicle cleanliness and safety standards are consistent with company policy and legal requirements.
Maintain security.Lead by example with regards to compliance.Provide accurate reports and support to internal and external contacts.
Provide accurate information and support to operations and merchandising teams. Liaise with outside service departments, third party providers and government agencies.
Control all controllable costs and manage all budgets, making recommendations for costs structures for new budgets Control variable and fixed costs to within budgeted levels.
Continuously explore opportunities to affect additional cost savings and improve service standards.Ensure cost efficiency and service efficiency for all fleet activities.
Ensure most cost effective and efficient methods of clearance / delivery of incoming and outgoing shipments.
