The VIP hostess is thefirst employee to interact with arriving guests as they enter therestaurant. She should ensure to provide proficient andprofessional Food & Beverage service to the guests bymeeting and also exceeding their expectations.
Welcome the guestsby greeting them as per the standards and respond to customerqueries by resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner toensure customer satisfaction.
Hotel Overview :
Th8 Dubai is a pre-opening 5* hotel, located at the PalmJumeirah Island, inspired by the fashion, glamour and jet-setlifestyle of the cool white sands and art deco scene of MiamiBeach.
The hotel boasts of its direct beach access withuninterrupted views of the Palm, Dubai’s iconic skylineand the Arabian Sea that will provide an ultimate luxury experienceat the Palm Jumeirah.
The project has a total of 162 guest roomsand suites and 3 food beverage outlets with creative &unique concepts. In addition the hotel also features meetingfacilities covering over 200 square meters that can host a range ofevents from small corporate meetings, product launches and teambuilding activities to outdoor receptions and bespoke social eventsbeach and poolside.
Summary ofResponsibilities :
Check the reservation system and in-house guestinformation for the next meal period.
Notifythe supervisor of any large group bookings or any reservations withspecial request, VIP etc..
Distributereservations among all servers equally, informing them of allinformation necessary. Example, Birthdays, anniversaries, bill notto be taken to the table or any other unusual requests.
All the reservations are allocated as per the floorplan.
Always answer the phone politely using afriendly tone and being informative.
Thetelephone must be answered on a maximum of three rings.
If a customer has any questions, it is her responsibilityto answer them accurately. Therefore, know your product andofferings.
You must have complete knowledge ofall food and beverage menus : The ingredients; the preparation; howitems are served and with what;
know your prices; know thepromotions, special events etc..
Understandthe Server and runner tasks in the outlet and provide assistance asrequired.
Have a fair idea about generalinformation around the city.
To be aware ofall the policies and procedures in the Hotel.
The hostess is a very important part of YourRestaurant’s experience. Always remember you are thefirst and the last person the customer sees.
Therefore you aretheir first and last impression.
