Job description

Our client, a leadingtechnology solutions provider forthe airline / aviationsector, seeks a passionate andhighly-talented Product Manager

  • JobPurpose : Responsible for making sure that acompany's business strategy is supported with propertechnology architecture to achieve its goals;
  • ensures theenterprise-wide information technology environment, systems andservices are optimized to reduce complexity, reduce costs, increaseflexibility, and regulate technology environments.


  • Manages the delivery of Enterprise Architecture and ITstrategy solutions to the business; ensures that business andtechnology are in alignment by linking the business mission,strategy, and processes to its technology strategy, and bydocumenting this using multiple architectural models orviews.
  • Sets-up the IT Enterprise Architecturefunction within the company and manages the building of theinternal architectural capability (i.
  • e. people, processes,knowledge and systems).

  • Identifiesopportunities for IT effectiveness and value management andprovides technical expertise to analyze a business, recommend anddesign the best technology systems to invest in ensuring return oninvestment (ROI).
  • Leads the activities relatedto Enterprise Architecture for business and / or IT by applyingcurrent technologies, reference architectures, methodologies andframeworks (e.
  • g. TOGAF, Zachman, etc.).

  • Minimizes complexity in IT systems (by involvingtechniques such as removing duplication, adopting multi-usesystems), and provides a simple yet comprehensive IT landscape tothe company.
  • Outlines the technology systemsarchitecture that will be needed to support ISA business strategywhilst covering all the technical aspects.
  • Defines enterprise-wide architectures, focusing onmapping IT capabilities to business needs and services outline thetechnology systems architecture that will be needed and providesarchitecture guidance and leadership to businessentities.
  • Guides and supports engineers inidentifying the product’s requirements, deriving thesystem architecture or functional design, identifying the risksassociated with design and ensuring that the the product meets allthe customer’s requirements.
  • Develops specific activities, processes and methods fordefining or assessing IT strategy and fit-for-purpose of ITsolutions.
  • Optimizes IT organizational design and systems (digitaltransformation area).

  • Assists validate andwhere possible finetunes the architectures presented and used byboth the in-house and / or outsourced solutions.
  • Builds effective relationships with clients, stakeholdersand colleagues to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Keeps up with the latest trends in technology anddetermines whether they would be the right fit for ISA.
  • Keeps the dialogue with the leadership to integrate thebest practices and guidelines.
  • Preparescustomized and ad-hoc reports and necessary analysis for theclients / end-users and management as and whenneeded.
  • Performs any additionalduties as directed by the Line Manager / Head ofDepartment.
  • Qualifications :

  • Bachelor degree in TechnicalEngineering / Computer Science / IT or equivalent, Masters degree ispreferred.
  • TOGAF architecture certification isa must.
  • Additional training courses orcertificates related to training would be an advantage.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills,business writing and reporting.
  • Fluent inEnglish Language.
  • Work Experience

  • Minimum 5 years as EnterpriseArchitect managing with hands-on technical leadership,technical solution
  • design, and architecture ina multinational company. Airline IT experience is considered as astrong asset.
  • Experience with modelling toolsis mandatory (e.g. Enterprise Architect)
  • Delivers multiple components of architecture and / or ITstrategy initiatives in digital transformation and
  • addresses technology and strategic issues with differentorganizations
  • Deep experience in at least two,and documented experience in all four of the architecture domains(Business,
  • Data, Application, InfrastructureTechnology).
  • Capable of demonstrating acutting edge of enterprise software and service-orientedarchitecture (SOA).
  • Capable of conducting acost-benefit analysis for IT investments.
  • Effective persuasive, negotiation, problem solving anddecision-making skills
  • Proven skills inanalyzing data, identifying pitfalls and recommendingcost-effective solutions.
  • Dependable,self-initiative, take ownership and displays energy andenthusiasm.
  • Multi-task oriented with highattention to both results and details.
  • Passionfor the development of fellow staff members (coaching andmentoring).
  • Employs technical skills andinterpersonal relations to execute initiatives and achieve thecompany’s objectives.
  • Demonstratesthe ability to contribute and successfully deliver against businessstrategy and set KPIs.
