Job role : Sales Director - Insurance nLocation : Abu Dhabi, UAE nSalary : Negotiable nThe company is dedicated to providing a high quality one-stop service, comprising both general, life and savings advice and products, through a range of local and inte ational product providers.

n nThe purpose of the role is to build the Protection, Savings, Investment and General Insurance production through a team of Sales Managers and Financial Consultants based in the Abu Dhabi Office of The Company, exceeding targets and growing production on a year on year basis.

  • n nDuties and Responsibilities : nProduce and implement a Sales Strategy to address the local market that meets the company'
  • s growth objectives in line with the company business plan and ensure risks are managed. n nLead, train and motivate the Sales Managers and Financial Consultants to continuously build productivity and optimize the sales team effectiveness.

    n nRecruit new Sales Managers and Financial Consultants to ensure the sales operations are adequately resourced at all times to achieve growth in line with the business plan.

    n nLead by example to assist in motivating and building the confidence and competence of the sales team towards maximizing production.

    n nDevelop and motivate Sales Managers and Financial Consultants through evaluating their performance, identifying their training needs and ensuring that they are provided with ongoing training and development, including the UKs Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) qualifications.

    n nStaying abreast of competitor and market activity, producing reports on these activities accordingly with recommendations of how the company should deal with competition and business threats.

    n nCoordinate sales forecasting, review and analyze sales data to identify market trends and make recommendations to utilize this marketing information.

    n nEscalate the penetration of general insurance products through the activity of the Sales Manager and Financial Consultants.

    n nEnsure that Sales Manager and Financial Consultants increase the proportion of client funds under the management of the Companies Preferred Partners.

    n nIncrease short-and long-term persistency of the customers of Sales Managers and Financial Consultants. n nRepresent the company as required to the outside world, whether that is the Regulator, suppliers, gove ment bodies or customers.

    n nPlan and implement advertising activity and budgets in conjunction with the Marketing Director n nManage agreed budgets for sales promotions, incentives and seminars in line with the requirements of the company business plan.

    n nOversee any complaints from customers and introduce practices to stop or minimize the occurrence of such complaints. n nAdhere to the highest ethical standards and ensure that all sales activity is within the correct legal requirements, compliance and best working practices to minimize risk to the company n nProvide regular reports to the Chief Executive Officer as required, covering all recruitment, promotional, sales results and activity as requested.

    n nKeep up to date files for company contracts and agreements n nAt the request of the Chief Executive Officer undertake special products as and when required.

    n nEssential Experience : nFinancial Services, especially investments and money markets nChartered Insurance Institute Level 4 Professional Qualification (e.
