Job Role : Regional General Manager -AIM
EssentialFunctions : As Region GM you will :
Develop business strategy & operationexecution for defined region portfolio
Demonstrate responsibility for the financial performanceand overall growth of all contractual and transactional serviceactivities within the region
Lead and deliveroperational metrics across the region, such as outage standards,costs & FIFO, cycle time, resource utilization &efficiency, safety, quality, &integrity / compliance
Align FieldCore regionorganization and team for field services executionsuccess
Establish and lead the regionaloperating rigor
See around corners, scenarioplan, and stay ahead on long term market trends anddynamics.
Develop and drive a positive culture(based on our guiding principles and values) across the entireregion; listen to employees to drive changes and improvementsbottoms up.
Reward and recognize wins.
Workclosely with leadership staff, including Resource Operations andService Lines, to align region for customer outcomes.
Lead budget planning, financials operating rigor, andworkforce and talent planning and development. Coach leaders todevelop high performing teams.
Implementcompliance, quality & safety standards with all applicableregulations & practices
Leverageproductivity tools to drive purchased labor & materialvariable cost, and base cost productivity
Qualifications / Requirements :
Bachelors degree or 4 year degree from anaccredited college or university in Operations, Engineering,Science, Business Administration, Management, Marketing, LiberalArts or related field.
Minimum of 10 years ofcombined experience in a variety of business areas such asoperations, quality, field services, EHS, engineering,project / program management, or other related fields
3 or more years of global or region leadershipexperience
Master's Degree preferred
Strong knowledge of GE Gas Power’s and SteamPower’s field operations and services business models.Knowledge of the wind market also.
Priorexperience leading a region or sub region P&L or costcenter
Strong leadership, interpersonal andanalytical skills
Ability to work in a matrixenvironment, influence and motivate diverse teams to achieve aunified goal
Ability to interface effectivelywith all levels of the organization as well as organizationsoutside of FieldCore
Strong oral and writtencommunication skills
Strong listening skills;able to drive a positive employee relations culture into thefield
Strong customer servicemindset
Strong business and financialacumen
