Job Role and Responsibilities

Conducts transfer pricing analyses, includingeconomicbenchmarking analyses, transfer pricing documentation andplanning studies, functional analyses, and assisting clients withimplementing OECDs BEPS Action 13 requirements, among other typesof projects

Able to independently conductbenchmarking searches on external databases like Compustat, Orbis,Royalty Stat, etc

Willing to perform otherinternational corporate tax, tax due diligence, tax accounting,VAT, and other tax analyses

Preparestransfer pricing and tax proposals including writing, coordination,and interacting with clients

Delivers highquality transfer pricing and tax engagements in a timelymanner

Willing to assist with marketbuilding and client development activities

Willing to travel for client meetings, etc within or outside theUAE (as required)

Builds internal andexternal networks

Coordinates with otheroffices in multi-firm engagements and reviews, collates, andprepares inputs for senior management review

Ensures risk processes are adhered to; consults internallyand with the risk team for engagement and or client processes thatdeviate from the standard

Completesengagement management tasks such as timesheets, client files,billing, collection, WIP review, payouts to other offices,multi-firm engagement documentation and closure of engagements onthe system

Communicates regularly with thepartner director on client, people, risk and practice managementaspects and seeks inputs on all key decisions and issues

Relevant Skills and Behaviors

3 years transfer pricing experience

Excellent writing and communication skills

Excellent project management skills, including coordinating withmultiple member firms, meeting deadlines, working with and coachingassociates, etc

Basic knowledge andexperience in international corporate tax, tax due diligence, taxaccounting, VAT, and other tax issues

Basic experience in business development, client relationship andclient management, including preparing action plans for businessdevelopment and identifying opportunities for cross-selling

Good risk management knowledge and applicationincluding documentation, ability to escalate issues quickly to riskmanagement specialists for resolution, incorporating riskmanagement into work environment such that it is a part of theinherent process of engagement delivery

Basic to good practice management skills including debtors,timesheets, billing, follow up on recovery with clients

Excellent oral and writtencommunication skills (report writing, presentations)

Good interpersonal and teamwork skills

Linguistic Skills

FluentEnglish Verbal & written, Arabic skills are an addedadvantage
