Western Educated Senior Manager Payroll Department

They are currently seeking a Western Educated Senior Manager within the payroll department. You will have responsibility for the overall Management of the Payroll and time and attendance team to include staff recruitment raining and performance management.

  • Setting and driving standards across the department to manage the efficient operation of the organisation's payrolls, delivering effective day to day management of the Payroll managers and supervisors and ensure all financial obligations to statutory and non-statutory bodies are met.
  • Review and approve all payrolls as per company policies and procedures.
  • Resolve any potential issues that occur, including late receipt of time and attendance reports which may result in the payrolls being processed and paid late.
  • To develop and implement strategies for the continuous improvement of the payroll service including review of payroll processes and procedures and recommending best practice principles to the Senior Management Team.
  • Management of Team Objectives and Key Performance Indicators
  • Communicate actively with Operations, HR and Finance to review cross-departmental impacts and reconcile data sharing.
  • Supervision of all the money transfers to employees accounts, including communications with all relevant banks.
  • Auditing of payroll data on a regular basis including Balance sheet accounts which will include reporting of write offs and reasons for write off.
  • Auditing of Payroll and Time and Attendance data
  • To qualify for this position you must be Western educated with 5-10 years of Western work experience in a Managerial role and have a proven track record of experience in a field related to Customer Service, Administration and or Human Resources (payroll experience is an advantage).

    Previous Team Management experience is essential as is previous experience working in an ERP environment, preferably with SAP or Oracle.

    You must also have excellent written and verbal communication skills, Arabic would be an advantage.
