Contract Duration8.4 monthsJob PurposeThe Security Department at the event is mandated to prepare deliver and ensure that the appropriate security solutions are in place for all phases of the programme and into legacy through a guest focused riskbased approach that sets out to provide bestinclass security.
The role of the Operations function is principally concerned with overseeing all aspects of Security across all phases of the event programme from construction event delivery and legacy.
The purpose of the role of the Deputy Manager Search and Screening is to support the Lead Manager Search and Screening and when required to deputize for himher.
Therein to implement plans and execute on the Security Plan Concept of Operation for Security Operational Screening for both the readiness and event phases.
This extends to the following screening areas Vehicle Screening AreaVSA Pedestrian Screening Area PSA Remote Screening Area RSAThe role includes supporting the event operational functions processes and SOPs.
Core AccountabilitiesOperational Responsibilities Implement detailed plans for the Screening Area to cover all aspects of the security arrangements as directed including routine access control operations of search and screening scenario contingency Incident Management and emergency evacuation and others Support the drafting and execution of Security Plans and Standard Operating Procedures to support the above.
Deliver on Plans ensuring effective execution working closely with Dubai Police Workforce Machinery Logistics. Collaborate with events Operational staff to deliver efficient effective operations Propose and assist in drafting SOPs ahead of future requirements.
Manage timelines and deliverables ensuring that all milestones are identified and met escalating to the Lead Manager when required for resolution or other Work with the lead manager for Search and Screening and when appropriate the Training Manager on training requirements for staff involved in Screening ensuring appropriate personnel are trained and briefed as appropriate.
Undertake any other duties as assigned by the Chief of Security the Head of Security Operations or the Lead Manager of Search and Screening from time to time.
