Responsibilities

  • Develop an efficient and effective organizationDepartment Structure of sales in line with company businessobjectives that ensures delivery of results
  • Develop Annual plans and Sales forecast forthe department in line with Business Strategy and Business plansand ensure implementation to meet the agreed objectives
  • Appoint and nurture the development of distributornetwork in existing and prospective markets to achieve growth ofbranded products as per the agreed strategy
  • Introduction and implementation of Standard ERP system inthe department
  • Prepare, monitor and controlthe annual Trade-Marketing budget to ensure that market tradeexpenditure is in line with the business plan and adapted asnecessary, during the year to ensure delivery of results
  • Develop and ensure implementation of appropriate salespromotion and trade marketing activities and other initiatives inorder to deliver profitable growth
  • Develop and ensure implementation of systemand procedures so that customers are valued, and long-termrelationships are secured.
  • Develop and ensureimplementation of approved credit policies so that thecompany's resources are protected, and customer needs aremet effectively in a competitive market.
  • Ensure the development and succession of employees in thedepartment and keep the sales organization future-ready
  • Ensure the training and development of the sales team sothat the best practices including cross-category / business / marketlearning are embedded within the organization and that businesscontinuity is maintained.
  • CandidateProfile

  • 10-15 years of internationalexperience with an FMCG company in sales and marketing with atleast 5 years in a managerial role as head of Department-BusinessUnit
  • Fluent in English &Arabic
