  • Supports human resourcesdepartment by screening, testing, and interviewingapplicants.
  • Prepares payroll by calculatingpay, distributing checks, and maintaining payrollrecords.
  • Provides orientation for newemployees by providing information packets, reviewing companypolicies, gathering withholding and other payroll information,explaining benefit programs, and obtaining signatures fordocuments.
  • Maintains human resources recordsfor employees by recording the hiring, transfer, termination,change in job classifications, and merit increase dates as well astracking vacation, sick, and personal time.
  • Administers employee benefit program including studentloan, medical insurance, savings bond, and disability programs byadvising employees of eligibility, providing applicationinformation, helping with form completion, verifying submission,and notifying employees of approvals.
  • Documents and tracks human resources actions bycompleting forms, reports, logs, and records.
  • Sets up and schedules complicated meetings forinterviewees, hiring managers, employees, and departmentheads.
  • Accomplishes human resources departmentand organization mission by completing related results asneeded.
