Summary of Responsibilities :
Reporting to the Senior Duty Engineer, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following :
Maintains records PPM, spare parts and materials used.Reads shop drawings and layout plans for installation repair and modification work, liaise with vendors and service providers for AMC services and repair problems.
Evaluates and trains team and inspects work in progress and upon completion.Establishes a preventive maintenance program for electrical systems, air conditioning, refrigeration and heating equipment, works closely with other maintenance and trades personnel to determine and coordinate repair and modification needs.
prepares and maintains records, correspondence and reports.Takes frequent rounds of entire HVAC and electrical system’s plant rooms and prepare reports on daily, weekly and monthly basis.
Implements and enforces all safety procedures.Advanced knowledge in principles of refrigeration, heating, and air handlingKnowledge and skill in hand tools and diagnostic equipment used in maintenance and repair.
Follows Occupational Health & Safety regulationsTo check wastage and ensure optimum usage of material in the operationEnsures adherence to Fairmont’s Code of Ethics brandOther duties as assigned
on experience working in respective tradeHigh School Diploma or equivalentMinimum six (6) years of experience in HVAC field.
Experience Working in the UAE is an assetMust be flexible in terms of working hoursA self-starter, take initiative, can make decisions in fast-
paced, changing environmentComputer literacy in Windows, MS Office Suite, and Fidelio PMS systems is recommendedExperience in scheduling, implementing and documenting PerpetualPreventative Maintenance programs.
