Job Description :
Our client is a global leader in the field of polyolefins, chemicals, fuel products and polymer technologies. Its headquarters is at The Netherlands and it has presence in more than 100 countries.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES :
1. Identify and steer the development programmes to commercialisation of new applications and opportunities in PO markets, in line with the Business Unit objectives and Business Plans.
2. Develop strong relationships with customer’s technical & techno-commercial key team members to enhance its ability to conduct high value business with them and their converters
3. Technical focal point for all regional offices and agents within AFME, providing direct customer technical support, where none available locally, championing technical queries or issues, providing mentoring and leadership, conducting training programs or seminars to improve local competency.
has the ability to perform in a decision making process, both strategically and tactically.
Indepth technical knowledge & ability to explore high value added business opportunitied for polypropylene &polyethylene products.
Trouble Shooting & Complaint handling of Polyolefins grades
Ability to work extensively with customers & steer development programmes in wide sprectrum of application segments
Ability to work as a team & effective communication skill in a multicultural environment.
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE :
Degree / Post Graduate degree in Science / Chemical Engineering / Polymer Science / Polymer Technology.
Approx. 10 years in Application Dev. / Market Dev. / Technical Service of Polymers.
Techno-commercial experience of in Polypropylene & Polyethylene will be preferred.
Languages : English language skills; knowledge of written and spoken Arabic a must
Education : Master's Degree
