IT System Administrator
Alef Education Abu Dhabi, Emirate of Abu Dhabi
The IT System Administrator works with teams of specialists, project managers, product & technology to support and maintain administrative responsibilities for various systems.
The role also supports system enhancement processes in terms of usability, relevance, production quality, and learner engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Manage user data and access in systems to ensure our customers and employees maintain a productive, high quality, product experience.
Administration of Alef Platform to enable user access to systems
Ensure all required data is provisioned on Alef platform to enable internal and external client access
Regularly communicate with Product team to ensure administration capabilities on Alef Platform reflect requirements
Develop documentations for Admin journey in line with Product team
Perform regular audits to ensure policy compliance
Support continuous improvement and testing of systems to ensure high quality product delivery for all end-users.
Verify functionality and continued improvement of in-house developed applications
Use existing APIs to develop applications that can enhance efficient use of resources
Implement automation solutions for manual process when required
Device Management
Manage inventories of end-user devices, ensuring financial efficiency of inventories and high quality experience for our end-users
Ability to use MDM tools to properly maintain and manage devices
Ensure industry standard practices and internal policy compliance for managing devices
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth operation of devices within & out of Schools.
Google Workspace administration
Manage all Google workspace administration duties, ensuring our customers and employees maintain a productive, high quality, product experience with our Google based systems.
Create and manage user accounts, groups and permissions
Manage policy settings as per industry standards
Coordinate, support, implement projects that require assistance in Google Workspace tools, classroom management software and other software
IT Support Operations
Support the continued improvement and development of IT operations and services to enable achievement of division and department goals.
Ensure proper documentation of work, guidelines, and policies, recommending needs and opportunities for improvement as they are observed
Provide training and support on all systems applications as requested
Resolve all tickets related to assigned systems according to guidelines
Adhere to ITSM best practices and processes, recommending needs and opportunities for improvement as they are observed
Support overall team achievement of SLA targets for all tickets
Education, Experience and Required Skills
Education
Bachelor degree in computer science or related field
Google Workspace administrator certification is an advantage
Experience
3 years of relevant experience using and maintaining LMS environments, device management and Google workspace
Experience working with teams to perform administration tasks and ensure policy compliance and best practice solutions are implemented
Technical Skills Required (Insert Level of Expertise Here)

Technical troubleshooting
Knowledge of programming in any of the following languages Nodejs and / or Python
Experience using APIs to automate functionalities
