Essential and optional requirements
Responsible for a smooth operation and maintaining the highest standards of service on the Guest floors & Public areas, ensuring a clean & maintenance free hotel guest area (or assigned areas) as per established quality standards, maintaining linen, operating supplies and equipment’s par stocks and regular inventories are carried out on a monthly basis as well as handling internal and external guest concerns.
Must be flexible and ready to work under pressure. Reporting directly to the Executive Housekeeper.
Inspect the quality of daily work for the assigned team members and outsourced service provider making sure to always maintain standards to established prescribe level.
Operate housekeeping services and all machines / Equipment’s according to specifications.
Must be well versed in chemicals and equipment’s knowledge, cleaning procedures pertaining to guest rooms and public areas.
Be hands on in supporting the assigned staff in performing their tasks. Take responsibility and be in charge of special projects when required / instructed.
All reports relating to Finance / Front Office to be prepared on daily basis, ensuring budgets created for housekeeping department are met by controlling costs without compromising on standards.
