JOB PURPOSE :
Provide constructive and effective support to Project Manager and in charge for all aspects of Hard Landscaping projects.
3. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES : DESCRIPTION
Responsible for execution, documentation, procurement and administration of all aspects of hard landscaping projects
Understanding fully the requirements of the project including drawings, specifications, documentation, budget costs of materials, resources, typical productive outputs etc.
Assisting the project manager in drawing up work program, resource plan and procurement plan for execution of works.
Ensuring approval of material required for the project prior to procurement.
Raising material requisitions with detailed specifications clearly indicating Client specified material / supplier and follow up with procurement for timely delivery of materials.
Checking all material deliveries for quality control and approval of delivery notes.
Coordination for collection of necessary data from the supplier for material submittals.
Review and timely submittal of Shop drawings as per work program and also follow up for approval of the same with the Main Contractor / Engineer.
Liaising with Site Surveyors and QA / QC for survey of existing services, prior to commencement of construction activities.
Liaising with Main Contractor / Engineer in day-to-day site activities and resolving any technical issues.
Responsible for ensuring that the work is performed in accordance with specifications and within the timelines and cost constraints.
Engineer to liaise with project QS for tracking cost.
Raising Work Inspection Requests for completed landscaping works and liaising with Main Contractor / Engineer for necessary approvals as per Contract Specifications / Project QA / QC plan.
Planning and liaising with Project Manager for requirement of materials, resources and timely delivery at site.
Monitoring of plant, labour and material allocations and advising Project Manager of any future potential problems.
Highlighting to Project Manager and Sr. Quantity Surveyor any potential variations or additional works.
Submission of RFIs, RFCs, CVIs as necessary during the course of the project and following up for approval of the same.
Providing leadership, organizational support skills and promoting teamwork to achieve targets.
Coordinating with Safety personnel for fulfilling safety requirements throughout the project and encouraging / promoting and maintaining safe site working practices with work team.
Ensuring that QA / QC procedures, Control plans, Work instructions are followed and also proper records are maintained.
Liaising with QA / QC Engineer, surveyors and draughtsman for preparation of AS-Built drawings and following up with Main Contractor / Engineer for approval of the same.
Assisting the Project Manager in timely completion of works and handing over of the project. Knowledge, skills and experience required The job requires :
Prefer Civil Engineer qualification;
a minimum of 10 to 15 years’ experience
Good interpersonal skills
Worked in Auto CAD software
Preferred with UAE driving license
