PURPOSE : To implement and develop the projectprogram on site in a cost-effective manner in accordance with theapproved design, quality standards and within the agreed timeframe.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES : 1. Obtain the drawings ofthe project, assess the material and manpower requirementaccurately and hand over the material requirement to the PurchaseDepartment to enable procurement, after approval.
2. Monitorproject progress against the project plan and report discrepanciesand delays for taking corrective action. 3. Organize and manage theworkforce, keep the Project Manager updated on the progress of theproject and attend to all technical and engineering problems,additional man-power requirements, drawing changes, etc.
in aneffective and timely manner. 4. Regularly liaise with SiteManagement on adherence to project program and highlightdiscrepancies if any.
5. Conduct quality checks and completequality check lists with the QC Inspector on works carried out toensure that the products meet specifications.
6. Coordinate sitedemobilization on project completion and prepare applicablereports. 7. Execute issued snag lists from consultants, overseesub-contractors for various works, and monitor all jobs for timelycompletion and compliance.
