Senior Consultant Asset and Network Performance Location : Dubai, Doha, Muscat - Middle East Position Summary : Bentley Systems seeks a talented individual to serve as a Senior Consultant for the Asset and Network Performance Advancement Group.
This role reports to the Service Manager / Director responsible for project delivery using AssetWise Asset Reliability software.
The Asset and Network Performance Advancement Group provides professional services to users of the Bentley Asset Management software suite used by owners and managers of infrastructure assets.
The Senior Consultant will collect requirements, implement software solutions including testing, provide documents and training and be involved in promoting solutions to new users.
This role will ideally be based in a major Middle East city working with colleagues, teams and projects spread throughout the world.
Travel will be expected to client sites throughout the Middle East and if needed globally based on project demands. Travel could be in excess of 50% of the working time.
Your Day-to-Day : + Working with the AssetWise Asset Reliability (APM) product and associated tools + Participating in the solution definition of user projects by translating requirements and processes into functional design for configuration and addition into software + Draft functional and business requirements documents + Update and maintain functional and business requirements documents + Assist in the creation of project proposals for both fixed fee and time and material projects + Create and execute test plans based on user requirements + Proactively communicating and collaborating with external and internal users and stakeholders to analyze information needs and functional requirements and deliver requirements documents as needed + Serving as the conduit between the user community (internal and external users) and the software development team through which requirements flow + Identifying and validating business objectives and generating / proposing solutions that align with Bentley's business strategy and standards + Successfully engaging in multiple initiatives simultaneously + Ability to conduct remote and face-to-face training to end-users and system administrators + Other duties as assigned What You Bring To The Team : + Five to ten years' Reliability expertise - Working knowledge of Reliability concepts, FMEA, Failure Analysis, maintenance, inspection etc.
in relation to industrial locations / plants + Five to ten years' experience in the areas of technical business analysis, software life cycle development, software implementation, engineering.
Preference to Reliability software implementations + Bachelor's degree in Business Communications, IT, Computer Science, Engineering or related field is preferred.
Equivalent in work experience will be considered + Experience of working with Reliability focused software and processes + Ability to troubleshoot complex processes, software and software configuration + Strong analytical and customer relationship skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret user business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.
