Alpha Flight Services UAE LLC is a dynamic food service company employing 450+ employees, operating both business to business services as well as a wide range of generic branded consumer food and beverage outlets.
This company is based at Sharjah International Airport.
We currently have an exciting opportunity that has become available for an experienced and qualified to join our successful business.
The position :
To perform key role in pricing, costing and budgeting of the catering products related to company’s both, inflight and F&B operations and to provide a clear view of the company’s performance in the said areas through management reports and analysis.
To manage and control food and beverage cost and pricing.
Responsible for building and managing data tracking models to ensure robust data capture across the catering organization.
Works with external data sources and other teams to incorporate information relevant to catering into monthly performance reports and dashboards.
To provide a pricing overview by generating reports using historical data.
To advise management on pricing / cost changes and the impact of such changes on business performance.
To develop and manage pricing and cost models to support day to day business decisions.
Drives the use of intelligence data throughout the catering team to improve decision making.
To perform cost control exercise periodically to identify non value adding as well as to provide alternates within prescribed parameters without effecting company’s quality and customer satisfaction standards.
To extract data from systems & generate different reports to enhance costing decision making.
To Liaise with F&B team and guide them in controlling costs and establishing market competitive prices.
To supervise pricing and costing section by providing guidelines to the relevant subordinates in performing day to day, as well as periodic activities.
To prepare projected performance reports to determine variations from the budget and to suggest necessary actions to Finance Manager for keeping actual figures in line with budget.
To investigate the differences between the actual and theoretical results and report the variances to Finance Manager.
Supports development of Pricing Assistant team and others within catering to develop better business analysis and decision making
CMA, CIMA, master’s in finance or Accounting
SAP work related experience is a plus
5-7 years’ of work experience in a similar role
Experience in high-end F&B establishment is a plus.
Proven ability to communicate and work in team with kitchen staff
Effective leadership and team player
Capable of motivating and supporting a team
