To provide management and leadership of the Facilities Management (FM), Asset Management and Compliance Service. To ensure the provision of high quality, value for money portfolio of nonclinical services in support of the Hospitals service objectives and is managed effectively.
To provide strategic direction for the development of the Hospital and its associated services and lead in the implementation of the strategy and facilities statutory compliance services.
To provide the professional input required to ensure that the Asset Management and Compliance services provided meet the needs of the hospital.
To lead the business development function for FM, ensuring new business fits with the strategic vision and organizational value of the business.
To coordinate the tendering process, working with all senior managers to develop innovative models of FM service delivery that meet the service financial targets and requirements.
Reporting to : Director Operations
Providing strategic guidance and counselling to senior management regarding operations.
Implementation of programs, and performance measures for engineering.
Supervises the operations of the health systems buildings and grounds, coordinates planning for the needs of the Health System.
Oversees projects and construction, and is responsible for supervisory staff.
Directs operations and functions of utility system within the hospital, to include planning, installation, maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, environmental and structural systems.
Ensures systems building and grounds are reliable and safe environment for patients, visitors, staff and physicians.
Manages documentation of local, federal and HAAD standards or codes to ensure compliance with the applicable requirements.
Provides financial and operational direction and guidance to departmental leadership and implements performance measures to ensure department is functioning to its fullest potential.
Develops and manages programs and departmental planning, budgeting and administration.
Provide supervision, guidance and on the job training and staff development for any direct reports.
Maintain an appropriate level of continuous professional development.
Organize and participate in departmental activities, meetings and / or reports.
Promote effective communication strategies and maintain good interdepartmental liaison.
Works actively with staff to ensure service delivery is of a high standard.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineer or any Business or Commercial Degree and Qualification
HSE Certificate / Diploma
At least 15 years experience
10 years in hands on facilities management
Minimum 5 years experience in a management / Head role in facility management within Healthcare Industry
Experience in managing suppliers and sub-contractors
Open to any nationalities in UAE now male
Salary / Compensation
Salary to be used as a guide only and will reflect experience levels and interview performance
Salary is between 50 60k AED per month total package
