Job Purpose : Responsible for overseeing DSOA Students residence, in most cases she / he needs to ensure the residence is clean, orderly and peaceful.
Supervise Transportation arrangement, implementing rules & regulation, hosting regular residence meeting to discuss community -living issues such as residence conflict housekeeping, security & room inspection.
Main Responsibilities : Taking ownership of the front of house environment. Taking proactive approaches and initiatives to improve the overall operations and services.
Delivering a warm and welcoming reception service to current residents, prospective residents, staff, and visitors upon arrival and throughout their entire stay.
Performing reception duties in an efficient, professional and courteous manner. Ensuring a smoothly running operation for resident arrivals and departures for short and long term stays.
Building strong relationships with current residents, prospective residents, staff, and partner companies. Working closely with campus departments to ensure a seamless experience.
Managing the inspection and repair of the accommodation to improve the overall resident experience, as well as the business.
Promoting the university residence to all prospect and potential clients and universities by attending open house, events and orientations regardless of the time and date Creating, updating and implementing the policy and procedure of the university residence.
Supporting the cleaning team by checking rooms to meet expected cleaning standards prior to resident check-ins. Giving viewings of the premises for returning and prospective residents.
Demonstrating full knowledge of processes and practices at DSOA Student Residence. Administrating external / internal room booking requests in person, over the phone, or through online platforms.
Answering calls, emails, and online enquiries within 24 hours, following up and resolving the requests within 48 hours. Resolving resident issues and concerns in a polite, warm, and professional manner.
Handling queries and maintenance requests and communicating them to support staff. Logging and filing incident reports. Offering information on public transportation, accommodation socials, events, and related activities.
Responding to emergencies as required by the emergency policy. Complying with health and safety policies and legislation.
Acting as a first aider and fire marshal on site. Participating in meetings and accommodation social events. Requirements : Cultural and ethnical sensitivity, as work will take place among a diverse population of residents and staff.
Proven track record of customer service experience, ideally in Student accommodation environment. Expressing high levels of energy and enthusiasm.
Presenting themselves professionally in an exceptionally well groomed behavior. Having a sense of fun and carrying a positive outlook.
