Directly responsible for delivering, developing, overseeing, implementing, and improving training materials and programs to maximize the technical awareness & effectiveness of staff on a broad range of banking products & portfolio training including investments & wealth management
Key Result Areas
Determine learning and development requirements by studying business performance and marketing strategic plans while conferring with business and relationship teams, managers and support departments to align training programs with business goals.
Identify individual, team and organizational training needs for technical and professional behavioral development trainings to enhance individual performance.
Design, develop and implement comprehensive annual training plan that supports the business objectives for bank wide staff.
Monitor and implement classroom training and on the job training needs in Individual Development Plans (IDPs) of Employees to improve staff performance
Monitor effectiveness and upgrade quality standards of course design, development of annual training plan, training development processes to match international best practice on an ongoing basis.
Deliver scheduled courses for enhancement of knowledge, skills and competencies, subject matter expert for enhancing, leading and delivering technical courses.
Assist in creating and implementing automated / online learning approaches to supplement classroom training or as an alternative channel for learning agility.
Handle need based projects assigned periodically to ensure end to end implementation for bank wide audience
Ensure relevant technical certifications are completed by all staff in their respective domains to keep them updated on international standards and best practices.
Locate and engage professionals outside the organization (such as guest lecturers, experts, and specialists) to help effectively train various business professionals on industry best practices.
Ensure that external courses / trainers comply with the Group’s policy needs and training standards
Create and maintain a repository of assessment tools and content and effectively implement the same periodically.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Able to quickly learn and grasp new concepts
Very good understanding of banking & investment banking products and how do they work in a banking environment, good commercial understanding and awareness
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and training skills.
Background of investment banking
At least 5 years of professional training experience
