About the Role : An opportunity has arisen for a Assistant Manager to join our Housekeeping department in Jumeirah at Etihad Towers.

The main duties and responsibilities of this role are :

  • To direct the administration of all housekeeping services for guest rooms, public areas, staff areas, uniforms
  • To ensure excellence in standard of hygiene, safety, comfort and aesthetics are provided
  • To direct all housekeeping project, programs and training where applicable
  • To act as a source of contact in departmental, interdepartmental and guest related communication
  • To constantly spot check Housekeeping Colleagues to maintain standards development
  • To evaluate Housekeeping Colleagues about their training needs and development
  • To develop Housekeeping Colleagues to attain their full potential
  • To train and develop all Housekeeping Colleagues
  • To regularly review the training results and needs with Housekeeping Manager
  • To have executive classroom training as well as on the job training and corrective coaching
  • About you :

    The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications :

  • Hospitality Management Diploma
  • Trainer certificate
  • Computer literate
  • Good communication skills
  • At lease 5 years experience in Housekeeping department with 2 years experience in a supervisory position
