    Our client is a Multinational Digital Media and Production company which broadcasts its contents in more than 30 countries around the world.

    They have millions of viewers through social media, internet and mobile. They are based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

    Job Description

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts (Net-suite)
  • Preparation of Monthly Payroll
  • Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Monitor day-to-day financial operations
  • Inter-company Management
  • Assisting with budgets and forecasting
  • Cash flow Preparation to HQ (weekly reporting)
  • Statutory accounts (Assisting local Audit Firm with preparation of annual statutory accounts)
  • Assisting with annual audit (as per HQ requirements)
  • Handling and resolving financial queries (government / internal / suppliers / contributors)
  • Managing and developing Accounts Assistant (AP / AR)
  • Fixed Assets
  • Monthly & Quarterly Reporting as per the timetable
  • Interpreting financial information and data
  • Producing Financial Reports
  • Ensuring that strong financial controls and procedures are in place
  • Credit Control
  • Dealing with bank institutions and government entities
  • Treasury
  • AP / AR management
  • Assisting and working closely with FP&A team
  • Any other Ad-hoc requirements
  • Overseeing Income Recognition, making sure income recognized is in line with US GAAP
  • VAT returns
  • Employee Expenses
  • The Successful Applicant

  • ACCA / CIMA part / fully qualified or similar
  • Extensive knowledge of Excel
  • Knowledge of all aspects of a finance function, including management and financial accounting
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards / US GAAP desirable
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Comfortable with working in a demanding environment
  • Excellent organisation skills and the ability to manage conflicting and changing priorities
  • Ability to plan, prioritise and work to tight deadlines
  • Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative with minimum supervision
