The railway will redefine logistics and transport in the region, providing a modern, safe, efficient and sustainable network which will connect the seven emirates of the UAE to its neighbouring GCC countries.
As an Utilities inspector you will report to the respective Engineer and Resident Engineer, support in supervising the contractor’s daily activities, monitoring and reporting on quality by undertaking materials sampling, inspections and testing together with documenting your findings to ensure that the work is being built in accordance with the drawings and specification (Contract).
You will make the Resident Engineer aware of any defects or deficiencies that you observe.
You will form part of the Construction Supervision team with a view to ensuring client satisfaction and helping to strengthen the project delivery capabilities.
You will have autonomy over carrying out daily inspections of the works and signing off the relevant part of the contractor’s RFI’s, observations and non-conformances or poor workmanship with the Engineers / RE and any safety issues with the Safety officer and / or safety engineer.
Your key objective is to always to act with professional, communicate effectively with site teams and motivate them to meet the project objectives.
Here's What You'll Need :
As a successful candidate you will a BSc or diploma in Civil Engineering from an internationally recognized and accredited university with experience major infrastructure projects that are complex in nature.
You must be able to demonstrate an ability to improve the safety performance of site operations in UAE, rail experience is desirable.
Dubai Municipality approvals are required.
