Vertex Aerospace has been providing International Aircraft Maintenance and Logistics Solutions since moving its headquarters to Madison, MS in 1989.
In anticipation of contract award, Vertex is seeking experienced professionals to support Aviation Services at our United Arab Emirates Headquarters in Abu Dhabi.
Contingent positions are available immediately in the following specialty
The incumbent is responsible for overseeing field maintenance procedures and relates over and above requirements and disposition.
Receives limited supervision from department head and has extensive contact with individuals outside the organization.
Reviews the applicability and implementation of service for the program.
Corrects annotations to parts, maintenance and wiring manuals.
Troubleshoots any inquiries from the field regarding maintenance issues.
Validates part numbers.
Interfaces with customers regarding engine, and prop delivery dates.
Initiates and implements scope of work requirements related to maintenance of aircraft.
Ensures all scope of work requirement resources are allocated properly.
Assists with recruitment, selection, discipline and training of personnel.
Maintains appropriate liaison with suppliers / vendors, local state and federal oversight agencies and purchases of services.
Approves or disapproves sections of subordinate employees and recommends action or corrective procedures.
Implements in-service training programs to communicate current information and procedures to employees under incumbent’s supervision and evaluates training programs to determine their effectiveness in improving staff performance.
Provides guidance to subordinate employees and peers when appropriate, collaborating and cooperating with other members of the management team.
Implements the performance appraisal systems for employees under incumbent’s supervision.
Oversees ACI induction, implementation, and completion.
Greets visitors and clients.
Exhibits positive courteous behavior with customers, businesses and coworkers.
Assists coworkers and those in other departments to successfully perform job tasks and functions when

Bachelors Degree (BS or BA) from an accredited four (4) year college or university in Aviation Maintenance or related field and eight (8) years of experience in work related to the above-
described examples. OR Education / Experience Equivalent
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS :
A & P license is preferred.
