About the Job :

An opportunity has arisen in Supply Chain & Logistic Department as a Supply Chain & Logistic Officer for a highly motivated and hardworking individual.

The main purpose of this position is to be responsible for the purchase of all Non Food & Consumables for the Group to support the Purchasing Manager Non Food & Consumables -

Supply-Chain & Logistics in administrative and statistical tasks.

  • To support the business with the cost effective procurement and delivery of Non Food & Consumables
  • Responsible for the day to day enquiries of new products
  • Prepare comparison of products and prices
  • Respond and follow up on supplier performance implementing appropriate corrective actions and advising of impending business risk.
  • Attend HOD meetings where required by Purchasing Manager Non Food & Consumables
  • Identify and maximize opportunities for cost and price reductions
  • Identify, propose and implement revenue generating initiatives where appropriate
  • Process and expedite purchase orders utilizing the companies’ procurement system as per the companies policy and procedures
  • Ensure all suppliers are in compliance with company policy and procedures
  • Prepare statistical and other reports in a comprehensive and accurate manner
  • Contribute to ideas and solutions for continuous contract development.
  • Other Duties :

    Perform any related procurement duties as requested by the Purchasing Manager Non Food & Consumables, Assistant Director, Director and Vice President of Supply, Chain & Logistics.

    Attend required training session as requested by the Purchasing Manager Non Food & Consumables, Assistant Director, Director and Vice President of Supply, Chain & Logistics.

    Adhere to Jumeriah’s Guiding Principles and Hallmarks and to promote them to colleagues on a constant basis, always leading by example.

  • Communicate in a professional, positive, courteous manner at all times with all levels of internal and external customers.
  • Handle confidential matters / information with the appropriate level.
  • Qualifications

    About you : In order to be considered for this role you must have a Diploma or Certificate in accounting and finance, and be able to communicate effectively in English.

    You need to have at least minimum 1 year in purchasing experience or 2 years in any other hotel operation function. You need to have Good Communication skills.

  • You need to have good Working knowledge of MS Office . Graduate from university or college will preferable. About the Benefits : This position offers a highly competitive salary and package which includes;
