We value the passion and enthusiasm of our colleagues, and encourage you to share your passion when you work with us. At the moment we're looking for a Revenue Manager to join our team at InterContinental Hotels Group® Dubai Festival City.

Your day to day

As a Revenue Manager, you will report directly to the Area Director of Revenue Management and you are responsible of driving all aspects of revenue management discipline in the department to maximize revenues and profit contribution.

You will manage all aspects of competitor intelligence, pricing, management of room inventory, distribution channels, market segment mix and acceptance / denials of major group bookings.

Ensure the implementation of company revenue management audit, using the tools provided (ie IBP) and in compliance with the IHG standards, maintains updates and shares information in the areas of a Demand calendar of external events, competitor rate intelligence, RevPar penetration (RGI), denial reports, system contribution and trends in rooms and non-

rooms revenues by channel, segment and account. You will be working closely with Operations management to implement best-

practice pricing, yield management and wider revenue management to understand the composition of hotel profitability and uses this to evaluate business from local accounts, system delivery, KNR accounts, and groups so as to provide input to future rate setting and negotiation.

You will also monitor competitor pricing, understands the dynamic of the local market and the demand generators, and recommends appropriate actions to the Revenue Room Taskforce in relation to the hotel’s pricing and market mix strategy.

You will facilitate the Revenue Meetings (which the ADRM and RGM) and generates reports, and analyses needed for these meetings.

You must display key facts / trends etc, on the revenue room walls, monitor and determine demand periods for function space with rooms, through an analysis of historical data and current bookings.

You will be responsible for tracking and analyzing of booking pace, group wash, cut off enforcement for groups as well as denied and regretted business.

You must also implement sell strategies for all group proposals above 9 rooms on any one night, and collaborates with the Area Director of Sales and Marketing, Director of F&B and Area Director of Finance and Business Support on setting group, conference, and promotional rates.

Use CPC tool to evaluate potential business on demand periods, manage use of revenue systems* on a daily basis, this includes the responsibility for opening or closing Holidex Plus, guardian of IBP.

Ensure compliance with all IBP rules and standard processes.

What we need from you

Ideally, you'll have some or all of the following qualifications and experience we're looking for : Required Skills and Experiences : -

High level of passion, enthusiasm and drive for results- Charismatic leader who can inspire, motivate and discipline the revenue team-

Excellent communication skills across all mediums presentation, telephone, correspondence, face to face etc. in English and preferably a 2nd language-

Strong interpersonal skills to develop and foster beneficial relationships- Ambitious and eager to learn, grow and further develop own career-

High level of common sense and high skill of problem solving and decision making- Pro-active approach, and the ability to meet deadlines-

Degree from a university or hotel school preferably in business administration or Revenue Management- Minimum of 2 years working experience in the international 5* luxury hotel or hospitality revenue management environment
